Summary: AquaFinance Pro collects only the data necessary to manage your aquaculture farm. We do not sell your data. Your farm data is stored securely in Firebase cloud and on your device.
1. Information We Collect
AquaFinance Pro collects the following information to provide our farm management services:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and password (stored locally and in Firebase cloud).
- Farm Data: Village names, pond/acre details, crop records, daily entries (feed, medicine, labour, mortality quantities), expense records, and sales data.
- Location Data: GPS coordinates (only when you grant permission) — used to record farm location for operational tracking.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting.
- WhatsApp Number: If voluntarily provided, used for farm alerts and notifications.
- Payment Information: Purchase history from Google Play (order IDs, subscription status). Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play — we do not store credit card or banking details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data exclusively for:
- Providing aquaculture farm management features (expense tracking, FCR calculation, profit reports, disease warnings).
- Synchronizing your data across devices via Firebase cloud storage.
- Enabling offline access through local device storage.
- Managing your subscription and in-app purchases via Google Play Billing.
- Generating farm analytics, reports, and harvest predictions.
3. Data Storage & Security
- Cloud Storage: Farm data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore (Mumbai region, India) with security rules to isolate each admin's data.
- Local Storage: Data is also cached on your device for offline access using localStorage and Firestore offline persistence.
- Encryption: All data transmitted between the app and Firebase uses TLS/SSL encryption.
- Access Control: Each admin can only access their own villages, ponds, and worker data. Workers can only access ponds assigned to them.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or farm data to third parties.
Data is shared only with:
- Google Firebase: For cloud data storage and synchronization.
- Google Play: For processing subscription and in-app purchase payments.
No farm data is shared with advertisers, analytics companies, or any other third parties.
5. Subscriptions & Purchases
- AquaFinance Pro offers a yearly subscription and optional worker slot purchases through Google Play Billing.
- Subscription automatically renews each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play Store → Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled per Google Play's refund policy.
- A free trial period is provided. After the trial expires, a subscription is required to continue using admin features.
6. Location Data
- Location access is optional and only requested when the app needs to record farm GPS coordinates.
- You can deny location permission — the app will function normally without it.
- Location data is stored with your farm records and is not shared with third parties.
7. Children's Privacy
AquaFinance Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
- Your data is retained as long as your account is active.
- You can delete individual records (villages, ponds, crops, entries) within the app.
- SuperAdmin can perform full data resets using the Emergency Panel.
- To request complete account deletion, contact us at the email below.
- Upon account deletion, all associated data will be removed from Firebase within 30 days.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data (available in the app's reports and export features).
- Export your data as CSV from the app.
- Delete your data at any time.
- Request a complete account deletion by contacting us.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
